What a cool day! I got to ride co-pilot on the Goodyear Blimp! I went up with a crew from ESPN. How did I land this gig? Why I volunteered to be their official photographer, that's how! We have a big Goodyear Plant here, and the communications director has been very good to me. I actually didn't think I would get to ride because it only holds 6 people, but the ESPN folks didn't have as many as planned, so there was an extra seat ... it just happened to be shotgun!

I would NEVER go up in a blimp or a hot air balloon, but you are much more adventurous than I. Very cool photos!
