We decided to shoot here because supposedly the fog is incredible in the mornings. No such luck today, but we shot anyway. You'd have to know Danville's history to fully appreciate the fact that this cemetery holds some of Danville's most beloved historical figures. I saw the graves of Col. A.B. Carrington, Col. William T. Sutherlin, W.P. Boatwright, and significant Danville names like Schoolfield, Dibrell, and Wooding. Very interesting, since I know many of these people were some of the founding fathers of danville's Community Chest (which is now United Way).
Anyway, here are some of my favorites: (Remember...you can see a larger version of each pic by clicking on it.)

awesome, awesome, awesome. glad to see you really getting into photography! DONT STOP!
im no pro buuuut...
8 and 10 are your strongest imo. the contrast in both is excellent, as well as the composition.
black and white really suits a graveyard shoot. it gives it a bit more of a serious tone, and the white tombstones on the morning grass(which would come out almost black) is perfect for building compostions simply off black and white shapes.
the picture of the people walking is great...if it were for a brochure for a park or a family event. Kinda odd to see such a happy image with graves as the backdrop.
oh and dude. i love you. i mean really. i love you. but lose the photshop filter. the first one you used it on looks like it was probably such a wonderful image!
Relax Rye Rye! I still have the original photos you know! I thought the filter made the pics look like they were in a comic book, which I thought was cool. Thanks for saying you love me though. I choose not to ignore that part. :)
Nice photos but it's all creepy to me. Especially the one of the two ghouls walking along a path. ;~) Right out of a Ghost Hunters episode. Oooooooooh!
