Rich History

As a part of a Chamber of Commerce event, I spent the day at Virginia's capitol in Richmond. It is the home of the nations original governing body. The pics below include the white capitol building (designed by Thomas Jefferson), the old City Hall (the castle looking building), and some shots of historic rooms and our current senate chamber. It's a newly renovated capitol, and it's stunning. The man behind the microphone is our current governor, Tim Kaine.

Very cool building. Aren't you the big wig, mucking it up with all the mucky mucks!
