Monumental Photos

I put these on Facebook, but not everyone has a Facebook account, so I'll put them here too. They aren't very high-quality pictures. I was traveling light with my point-and-shoot camera. I'd love to go back with my good camera and get some real shots! Anyway, Mary went with me to DC for a United Way meeting, and we spent a couple of hours Tuesday evening driving around and seeing the main monuments at night. We couldn't get anywhere the whitehouse by car, so we didn't attempt a picture. It wouldn't have been worth looking at. I know everyone sees pictures of these landmarks all the time, but it's still pretty cool to see them up close and personal, especially at night.
